The Lemont Park District referendum request for $17 million to improve and expand The CORE Fitness & Aquatic Complex, renovate Centennial Community Center, develop Derby Farm Park, and build new pickleball and tennis courts has been approved, according to preliminary results as reported by Cook and DuPage County Clerk’s Office. The unofficial results reported that the district received 70.6% of the vote.
